Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $1,440,000 over two years to the Working Families Organization (WFO) to support its work on prosecutor accountability and criminal justice reform. The funding will allow WFO to increase its organizing capacity, promote accountability demands among voters, and advocate for the election of reform-minded prosecutors. These funds are restricted to work on criminal justice reform and cannot be used to support other WFO priorities.
This follows our April 2019 support to the Working Families Party and falls within our focus area of criminal justice reform.
