Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $200,000 to Vegan Women Summit to support its work to grow the talent pipeline for alternatives to animal products by hosting an annual conference, running a pitch competition for women-led alternative protein startups, and doing outreach to connect women with alternative protein employers.

This follows our March 2021 support and falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare, specifically within our interest in alternatives to animal products.
