Open Philanthropy recommended $2,443,208 in scholarship funding[1]This is an estimate because of uncertainty around tuition costs and currency exchange rates in future years. This number may be updated as costs are finalized. to promising and altruistically minded students pursuing undergraduate study at US- and UK-based institutions where they do not qualify as domestic students (for the purposes of admission and financial aid). We sought applications for this funding here.
This falls under our work aimed at growing the community of people working to reduce global catastrophic risks.
