Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $1,969,857 over two years to the University of Queensland in America to support research led by Professor Mark Walker testing the impact of four new adjuvants on the efficacy of the COMBO5 vaccine against StrepA in non-human primates. This work could facilitate the development of a commercial vaccine by providing highly relevant primate data and could deliver proof-of-concept evidence of the impact of certain adjuvants on vaccine efficacy.
This falls within our focus area of scientific research, specifically within our interest in advancing human health and wellbeing.
