Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $344,973 to the University of Edinburgh over 1.5 years to support a randomized controlled trial on a combination treatment (aspirin, a vitamin supplement, and one dose of azithromycin) aimed at improving birth outcomes in Botswana and other countries with similar income levels.
