Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $275,000 over two years to the Riverside Justice Table to support work on prosecutorial accountability in Riverside, California, a county with high incarceration rates. This funding will help the Riverside Justice Table promote accountability demands, register voters, conduct surveys on voter preferences, and educate Riverside residents on the role of the prosecutor through town halls and other events.
This falls within our focus area of criminal justice reform.
The grant amount above was updated in March 2020.
