Open Philanthropy recommended an investment of $900,000 in Kainomyx to discover and develop novel therapeutics with unique mechanisms of action to treat malaria and other parasitic diseases. If effective, the new drugs would act by inhibiting cytoskeletal proteins in malarial and other parasites.
