Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of GBP 809,000 (approximately $1,015,101 at the time of conversion) to the Existential Risks Alliance to support its summer research fellowship program in Cambridge, UK, which focuses on reducing risks from advanced AI.

This follows our January 2023 support and falls within our focus area of Global Catastrophic Risks Capacity Building.
