Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $9,293 to EA Nigeria to support effective altruism community-building projects in Nigeria. Grant investigator Melanie Basnak learned about this opportunity while participating in the 2024 cycle of Meta Charity Funders, which aims to fund charitable projects working one level removed from direct impact.

This falls within our focus area of empowering people to use their careers and donations to help others as much as possible.
