Open Philanthropy recommended two grants totaling $26,000,000 to the Centre for Effective Altruism (CEA) for general support. CEA is a central organization within the effective altruism (EA) community that engages in a variety of activities aimed at helping the community.

This follows our February 2021 support and falls within our focus area of growing and empowering the community of people focused on global catastrophic risk reduction.
