Hundreds of millions of people, particularly in low-income countries, would like to migrate to other countries but are prevented from doing so by policy barriers.
Immigration Policy
We believe that there are substantial humanitarian benefits to reducing barriers to immigration.
We value all lives regardless of the circumstances of their birth, and we believe that migration can dramatically improve the lives of migrants. We hope to enable more people to be able to move internationally, particularly from lower-income to higher-income countries. We see the potential humanitarian gains from such changes as massive, and we see certain sub-areas of the issue (e.g., refugee resettlement) as relatively neglected spaces among policy-oriented groups.
Note that we do not accept unsolicited proposals to fund work in this area.
