Our Team

Shirley Higerd-Rusli joined the Business Operations team as an Associate in March of 2025. Prior to joining Open Philanthropy, Shirley was the Director of Operations and HR at Love146, an anti-trafficking organization serving youth survivors. She holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology from UCLA and a Master’s in Public Administration, specializing in nonprofit management, from the NYU Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service.
