Sam Anschell
Operations Assistant

Sam joined the Operations team in February 2022. Before starting at Open Philanthropy, he was a poker dealer by trade and served as a union representative for other poker dealers in Washington State. He also worked as an independent contractor for Poker Power, a nonprofit which teaches women financial management and soft skills through the game of poker. He has a B.A. in Economics and Music from Wesleyan University.
