Otis is a Program Director on our Global Health and Wellbeing Team. He oversees GHW program teams on policy as well as the cause prioritization research team. In the 2020 and 2024 election cycles, he was a political donor advisor and he previously worked at BlueLabs, a campaign analytics firm. He also previously worked at Open Philanthropy leading the cause prioritization research team. Otis has a PhD in economics from MIT, where he studied the political economy of development, working primarily in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda. He also holds a BA in economics and public policy from Stanford.
