Lauren works on finding new cause areas for Open Philanthropy investment. Prior to joining Open Philanthropy, Lauren was a PhD student in political science at UC San Diego. She holds a MA in political science from UC San Diego, MS in physics from UC San Diego, and a BS in physics from Caltech.
