Jordan joined Open Philanthropy in October 2024. As part of the Innovation Policy team, he works to identify and support promising opportunities to boost the efficiency, impact, and safety of the scientific ecosystem. Previously, Jordan was the Metascience Program Lead at the Federation of American Scientists, and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Biostatistics in Psychiatry at Columbia University. He holds a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Psychology from Haverford College.
