Hetty joined Open Philanthropy in November of 2024. Previously, she worked at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in their Development Finance and Policy Team in Washington D.C., where she managed the bilateral aid portfolio. Prior to this, she spent 4 years at the OECD evaluating development assistance programs, policies, and budgets of the OECD DAC member governments. Hetty also has led Oxfam International’s aid effectiveness and development finance research and advocacy team.
