Damien joined Open Philanthropy in November of 2023. Before starting at Open Phil, he ran a nonprofit focused on increasing awareness of existential risks, volunteered on political campaigns, and worked to certify B Corps at B Lab in Philadelphia. He has a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
