Brittanie joined Open Philanthropy in August 2024. Prior to joining Open Philanthropy, she worked as an immigration paralegal supporting a variety of organizations across the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. She also worked extensively to help Afghan refugees, undocumented youth, and victims of crime apply for political asylum and other forms of immigration relief. She graduated from Amherst College with a B.A. in History.
