Benjamin joined Open Philanthropy in August 2023. He works on identifying outstanding opportunities for growing the forecasting community, and on improving Open Philantropy’s internal forecasting. Before joining Open Philanthropy, Benjamin worked as an economics postdoc at the Global Priorities Institute (Oxford University). He holds a BA in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bayreuth, an MPhil in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute, and a PhD in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
