Aaron joined Open Philanthropy in January 2022, after spending three years working on content at the Centre for Effective Altruism. He’s helped to run a variety of projects in the EA community, including the EA Forum and EA Newsletter; he also co-founded Yale University’s student EA group. Outside his work in effective altruism, he’s a passionate Twitch streamer and semi-professional gamer who placed second at the 2020 Magic: the Gathering world championship.
